Meghalaya is best experienced at an unhurried pace, where misty hills, lively villages and age-old traditions become part of the journey. This private tour takes you through the heart of the Khasi Hills, beginning in Shillong, where colonial heritage and everyday local life come together. From there, explore the dramatic waterfalls and limestone caves around Sohra, walk through the forests to the living root bridges of Nongriat, and discover the peaceful village life of Mawlynnong. The journey continues to Dawki and Shnongpdeng, where the remarkably clear waters of the Umngot River create one of Meghalaya’s most memorable landscapes. Together, these experiences offer a natural and cultural introduction to Meghalaya, following a well-established 6-day circuit covering Shillong, Sohra, Nongriat, Dawki and Shnongpdeng.
