Day 4: Tea Factory – From Leaf to Cup

Today takes you inside a working tea factory, subject to estate permission and operating schedules.

Follow the journey of freshly plucked tea leaves through the principal stages of manufacture. Learn how withering, rolling, oxidation and drying influence the character of the finished tea.

Discover the differences between CTC and Orthodox tea, followed by a tea-tasting experience where you can appreciate the colour, aroma, strength and flavour of Assam's teas.

Day 5: Golf, Tea & Heritage – A Leisurely Plantation Day

Depending on your preferences, the day can include another round of golf, a second tea-estate experience, a plantation walk or additional tea tasting.

Spend time appreciating the slower rhythm of life in Assam's tea country, surrounded by gardens, historic trees and plantation architecture.
