Day 1 – Arrival in Jorhat → Kaziranga National Park

Arrive at Jorhat Airport, where our representative will welcome you. Begin your journey towards Kaziranga National Park, travelling through the scenic countryside of Assam.

Enjoy views of rural settlements, agricultural fields and the changing landscapes of the Brahmaputra Valley. On arrival in Kaziranga, check into your wildlife lodge or resort.

The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax and prepare for the exciting safari experiences ahead.

Day 2 – Kaziranga National Park

🦏 In Search of the Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros

Today is dedicated to exploring the extraordinary wildlife of Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy a jeep safari through its grasslands, wetlands and forest habitats. Keep watch for: Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros, Asian Elephant, Wild Water Buffalo, Swamp Deer, Wild Boar, Diverse resident and migratory birds

With patience and luck, you may also encounter other fascinating wildlife. Depending on safari availability, an additional safari or nature experience may be arranged. Return to your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Kaziranga.

Day 3 – Kaziranga → Jorhat

🌿 From Kaziranga’s Grasslands to Assam’s Tea Country

After breakfast, depart Kaziranga and travel towards Jorhat. Enjoy the scenic drive through Assam’s countryside, with opportunities to appreciate the region’s agricultural landscapes and tea-growing areas. On arrival in Jorhat, check into your accommodation. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the surroundings.

Day 4 – Jorhat → Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary → Tinsukia

⭐ The Highlight: Discover the World of the Hoolock Gibbon

After breakfast, travel towards Hollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, one of Assam’s most fascinating wildlife destinations. The sanctuary is renowned for its hoolock gibbons, India’s only ape species, and supports a remarkable diversity of primates and forest wildlife. Enjoy a guided forest experience, subject to local permissions and operating conditions.

Day 5 – Maguri Beel → Barekuri Village → Dibru-Saikhowa National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring some of the most fascinating wildlife habitats around Tinsukia.

🌅 Early Morning: Maguri Beel

Begin the day with an early-morning visit to Maguri Beel, a scenic wetland near Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. The peaceful morning atmosphere provides excellent opportunities for birdwatching, Nature photography, Wetland observation, and discovering Assam’s aquatic and bird habitats

Enjoy the tranquil landscape and observe the wetland’s fascinating birdlife.

🐒 Morning: Barekuri Village

Continue to Barekuri village, a distinctive destination known for its association with hoolock gibbons and the surrounding wildlife habitat. Explore the village environment and learn about the relationship between local communities and wildlife. With patience and luck, you may observe gibbons in the surrounding forested landscape. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, and all encounters should be enjoyed responsibly and from a respectful distance.

🌳 Second Half of the Day: Dibru-Saikhowa National Park

After lunch, proceed to Dibru-Saikhowa National Park, a remarkable ecosystem of river channels, wetlands, grasslands and forests. Depending on local conditions and permitted activities, enjoy a guided nature experience or boat excursion. Discover the park’s diverse habitats and remarkable biodiversity, with opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife photography. Later, return to Tinsukia.

Your journey concludes with memories of Kaziranga’s rhinoceros, Hollongapar’s remarkable hoolock gibbons, Barekuri’s village wildlife and the wetlands of Maguri Beel and Dibru-Saikhowa.
